Bridlington Town AFC
Synopsis
Bridlington Town AFC is a club currently playing in the Northern Premier League Division One East, the eighth tier of English football.
I’ve been lending them my skills in my spare time; initially designing their kit for the 2024/25 season, and more recently modernising their social media graphics.
I’m approaching this as a slow-burner branding project, with plenty more to come, so this should be considered a work in progress. Watch this space!

Bridlington Town AFC
Bridlington is a club that has existed for over 100 years, so I want the identity to fit the vibe of a historical seaside town club.
Bearing in mind that Bridlington’s social channels are run by volunteers with little design experience, I thought Vocal Type’s Marsha was a perfect pick. It has plenty of character (mirroring the type of Bridlington’s now-shuttered Winter Gardens Cinema) and a lovely underlined superscript version when you type in lowercase, meaning that anyone can make a simple type-only layout look beautiful.

The social graphics are where I’m starting to experiment with some more personality, incorporating some of the pattern I designed for the home shirts and an expanded colour palette.
